WINTER AB & BOOTY CAMP RESULTS!
After just nine weeks of adding twice-a-week workouts to their own life schedules, all of our campers saw improvements in at least three area of assessment.
First, everyone got stronger. They felt it, I tracked it. Lots more muscle!
Second, everyone lost inches. Those extra muscles pulled everyone in few inches at varying points between their abs and their booties.
Third, and most important, everyone lost a percentage of their body fat. Many of our campers lost a truly significant percentage, taking them out of the unacceptable range into the average range! What a boon for their health, and an testament to the simple power of exercise. It truly is the fountain of youth: these campers added to their lives by reducing their percentage of unhealthy body fat.
And nobody really suffered! Campers of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels were so impressive in their accomplishments--below is just a sampling of a few of our campers' results. They didn't need the stress of an unrealistic schedule or restrictive diet to get the job done. They fit caring for themselves into their lifestyles, as it should be. They found fun in their endeavors, and it made them successful.

NOTE: Some folks did more than just work out twice a week; they changed their eating styles or added long walks and "homework" to their in-between days.
Results are individual, and none are guaranteed, but it's hard to imagine a body not being better off working out twice a week, in a self-nurturing mindset, with plenty of workout buddies with the same interests (and complaints!). Join us this summer!

Jillian, age 41, but no one ever believes her
On a year-long adventure of health and wellness, Jillian added the Ab & Booty Camp to her already strong schedule of Pilates and Zumba. Extra attention to diet and lifestyle has already helped Jillian lose a significant amount of weight in the past year, but she still lost 6 more lbs. of body weight and gained 13 lbs. of muscle in nine weeks! The extra boost from Camp surely helped her achieve the main priorities we set for her body: reducing her body fat percentage from too high to average range, and trimming several inches off her waist, hips and rear by building more lean body mass. The transformation is truly inspirational to so many of her friends and workout buddies. And me, too.
Terri, age 49 -- agewhat? must be a typo
Terri started Camp strong but ended even stronger. Her main goal was to lose inches around the hips, rear and thighs--and she did that: over 2.5 inches, plus another 1.25 inches in the abdomen area as well. Best of all she altered her body composition from average to a true fitness princess level. She looks great and is rockin' those elbow planks.
Sue, age 55, world's coolest grandma and cheerleader
Over the past few years, Sue has progressed from two or three Pilates classes a week to a regular cardio dance fitness enthusiast and hard core interval trainee. Ab & Booty Camp seemed to kick everything into gear with Sue's body, helping her have fun coming to more classes each week, and building her core strength to a new level. Her loss of a whopping 9% points of body fat and gain of 15 lbs of muscle in a little over two months (including a week off in Cabo!) changed her fitness level and her ability to perform more advanced exercies in all her classes. Next up, we're working on that golf game!
Vickie, appears ageless but claims to be a former hippie
Vickie had already lost a good amount of weight before Ab & Booty Camp, but wanted to continue to strenthen, shape, and tone her mid-section--without losing the lower body curves. 9 weeks of two extra workouts a week delivered an amazing 4.5 inch reduction in waist and low ab measurements. She toned her hips and rear, and managed to drop the final few lbs. that kept her body fat percentage too high. Vickie ended camp on the with a new fitness level body composition, and gained complete control of her core.
Jeannie, age 47 with the spirit and legs of a youngster
Jeannie didn't start camp with a bunch of weight to lose, but instead was looking for tone, strength, and lean muscle to tighten up any softer spots. She did it! Jeannie trimmed 1.5 inches from her midsection by developing strong and stable deep abdominals, and she changed her body composition admirably. Trading fatty tissue for lean tissue kept her weight the same but changed her look and fitness level to a wow!
Betty, age 52ish and watch out: go Betty, go Betty
Moving from one to count 'em, SIX classes a week over the course of the past few months, winter Ab & Booty Camp launched Betty from beginner to bombshell. She's one of the bounciest smiliest gals in the room--and why not, her mission has rewarded her with real success. She started Camp with a body fat percentage on the edge of too high and moved it all the way down into a fitness level that all our kids should be aiming for. She about doubled her core strength too, and lost inches all over.
